We, as Federation, are actively involved in the environment as custodians for the Greek children of tomorrow.  We actively promote environmental issues and use the most effective environmentally friendly materials in the building of homes. We directly and indirectly protect the Greek environment wherever possible.  All members of the Federation are fully committed to our policy statement on environmental issues.

The Federation builds homes to European Building Standard Codes 3,4,6 and 8 which have environmentally sound considerations. We recognise that our business impacts the environment. and we actively seek to minimise these impacts where ever possible. In order to ensure the continual improvement of our environmental performance, we will work to implement and maintain an environmental management system to the ISO14001:2004 standard and will be compliant with the Eco Management Audit Scheme (EMAS).

WE  SHALL  ENDEAVOR  TO

Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and best practice. Work to reduce to the lowest practical level any pollution caused by building work through reducing energy consumption and harmful emissions from our operations, including vehicles, buildings, storage, equipment and waste. Work with our suppliers through a partnership approach to minimise the impact of their operations, to develop where practical new products and services which seek to achieve greater sustainability, for example using technical specifications designed for Greece. Air conditioning systems, solar panels manufactured in Greece, building Panel Systems for heat generation along with other technology materials of high environmental impact values.
